Description: This month, we will explore the intersection of sex technology, human rights, and online censorship. Sextech business’s struggles are similar to struggles faced by advocates, researchers, and educators in the broader field of sexual rights. Individuals in sextech are navigating restrictive advertising policies, payment platform limitations, and social media bans and encountering the same barriers as activists and academics who aim to foster open, informed conversations around sexuality. Our discussion will emphasize the need for collaboration between industry and advocacy, advocating for shared solutions to censorship that respect and advance sexual freedom rather than restrict it. By uniting forces, we can confront the stigmatization and censorship that limits innovation and access to vital sexual health resources.
